If your device isn’t responding or fails to pair, try the following:
- Check power and range
- Make sure the device is powered on and within range of your Wi-Fi or Thread network.
- Restart or reset the device
- Turn the device off and back on.
- Reset the commissioning window.
- If needed, perform a factory reset following the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Verify network connection
- Connect your phone to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Temporarily disable VPN or custom network configurations.
- If your router has run out of IP addresses for new devices, try restarting it.
- Update software
- Ensure Matter Utilities is up to date.
- Check for firmware or OS updates on the device.
